[FWDLK] 56 Dodge quick question

Group,

I have a very quick question of anyone with a 1956 Dodge with stock
interior.  I have redone most of the interior on my Dodge.   I have a
piece of interior cardboard with the insulation glued on the back (like
the cardboard you see in back of the steering column on the firewall)
that I cannot determine where it goes.   The cardboard is black and the
piece is rectangular (4in x 6in) with a slight bend forward at the
bottom.   I have a feeling that it should go somewhere near the back of
the steering column.   Any help out there?
