I would suggest go to VA rent a trailer and bring it back. That's what I did when I bought a car in Texas. Flew down examined the car, rented a truck and brought it back. This way I evaluated the car before buying it. Did the same thing in Maryland. Drove down, evaluated and bought the car, rented a 2 wheel dolly and towed it back. I know they say that it's better not to tow something with automatic trans, but it worked for me. We even drove thru New York City on the two wheel dolly and everything went fine. I know this question has been asked and answered numerous times for the past, but I havent been able to find any of my old references. I recently bought another 58 Dodge Sweptside in western part of Virgina and need a shipper to get it out to Idaho. Any reasonable suggestions?? Thanks George |
