Jerry, No, it's not a stupid question, just a question! 'Sportsman' was DeSoto's designation for 'hardtop'. There was also a Sportsman in the Firedome series, as well as a less expensive hardtop, the Firedome Special. In 1956, the lower priced Firedome hardtop was called "Seville".
