uncle expected the price of gasoline in the Midwestern U.S. to jump to
$3.50 a gallon by Monday.

I've been hearing rumors all evening that gas
prices are going to jump around 60% in the next few hours. Anyone else
hear this? I have a friend driving me nuts with this and I've been all
over the web and haven't been able to find any reference to the
increase.
