Greg, I got the tool to pull the rear drums off my DeSoto from the local Snap-on dealer. The tool is a little pricey $125-$150 range best I remember but it works great. It has three arms you bolt to the wheel studs (extra arms are available if you want to bolt to all five studs). It has a large center bolt that a T handle hooks to that you hit with a hammer to remove the drum. Mine works like a charm. Hope this helps. NAPA doesn't have it (although they have had most all other parts I have needed, compressor, steering pump, etc.) > > I would appreciate any leads on where to get the tool needed to put on new brake shoes. > > Thanks, > Greg Buffalow > > Preserving the best of the Forward Look > http://go.to/61imperial > Find the best deals on the web at AltaVista Shopping! > http://www.shopping.altavista.com >
