Re: [FWDLK] Throttle Body Injection

I think that a properly set up FI setup could exceed the performance of a
carb. The problem is that for MOPAR's the expertise and tech info just does
not exist...yet.
I have heard of more that a few experiences with the Holley FI setup similar
to what Dave reported, but I also know a guy that loves it and tries to buy
a used setup at a discount whenever he can.
Dollar for Dollar, for a MOPAR, I would say you are better off with a good
properly set up carb. But in a year or 2 that could change.
For me I am, a bit of a Techno Junkie and would love to go the FI route but
I going with a carb on my 360/408 stroker to get it on the road and see some
good ET's. But I am keeping my eye toward going with FI down the line. From
what I have seen you will need to spend at least $3500 from a company with
the expertise to build a properly calibrated working system that will match
the performance of a carb. You can get one to run with junkyard parts and
"universal" components but I would not expect to see a performance
improvement.

Thought I'd pass this along. Mostly advertisement,
but some info as well.
