[FWDLK] Seats parts??

Greetings!
Can the front seat rails of a 1955 NY Chrysler St. Regis 2 dr (located
underneath the seat) be interchanged with the same rails on a 1956 NY
chrysler 4 dr?  These seats are moved manually by a knob on driver's side
of the seat near the floor.
