Yes, I'm a SoCal guy. My Saratoga and I and the other cars in my flock live
near Laguna Beach, in Orange County.
The Saratoga's tranny was pretty low on fluid, and I put 2 quarts of Dexron
in, but it still slips in forward gears until it's warm. The shop manual
says that's low fluid or low pressure, so I'll check and see if it really
needs more fluid. If not, then I guess it's time for an overhaul and be done
with it.
