[FWDLK] How Fast?

Found an old edition of CAR EXCHANGE from June 1979.  Inside were the 0-60
times and the 1/4 mile times from cars of the50's.  Motor Trend's report of
the 48 cars showed the following:

Slowest quarter.......55 Stude Champion/6     22.0 seconds
Quickest quarter......57 Pontiac Super Chief  16.6 seconds
Slowest 0-60...........55 Stude again               20.6 seconds
Quickest 0-60..........57 Pontiac again              8.7 seconds

How'd we do:

55 DeSoto Fireflight....19.2
55 Belvedere              20.3
55 Custom Royal        20.3
56 Fireflight                17.8
56 Custom Royal         18.6
56 Belvedere               18.9
56 New Yorker             18.8
57 Custom Royal D500 17.2
57 New Yorker             17.3

Sort of underwhelming as the horsepower race was yet to gather sufficient
