[FWDLK] Type A tranny fluid

Sorry if this was answered before ....

My son's 2 speed in his 55 DeSoto shifts kind of funny.  Before I have it
tore down, I want to change out the fluid and put in real "type A" fluid.
He is running Dextron III, probably mixed with older type A fluid.

Any thoughts?  Is there a filter in there?
