Well I have been busy this week. Removed the wiring harness, dash, heater box and heater core. The wiring is a fire just waiting to happen, and I thought it was good before I got a good look at it. The dash was a bear to remove and HEAVY. I left all the guages and radio in the dash. The pushbuttons got caught up on the frame where it curves around on the drivers side. I could not lift it out until I removed the button box. Problem is you can't get to the 2 side screws until the dash is loose. Also I loosened up the steering column, next time I would remove it totally. I spent a lot of time taking notes and pictures. There are not a lot of wires compared to new cars but it is more difficult to reassemble because all of the connectors are the same. I finally located a set of 5 button pushbuttons, the good old UPS man delivered them Monday.
