Help me with this one oh forward looking wise ones! After searching the forward look site for info on finding script for my 58 Fury?, I am questioning my VIN. I do not have the book by Jim Benjaminson that so many speak of, so maybe someone out there can tell me. LP2E xxxxx. Is this or is it not a possible Fury VIN? My understanding was that L is 1958 P is Plymouth 2 is a v-8 chassis The E is the part I'm confused about. Does the E stand for Evansville? If ALL Furys were made in Detroit then what's the E for? (This was one of the statements I read in the archives). My car has Fury interior, is buckskin beige, WAS a golden commando when my uncle bought it nearly new, Has 150 speedo, Fury steering wheel HD suspension etc.etc. It doesn't appear to have ever been any other color. The script for the fins were taken off after the car changed hands in 1968 and put on a 58 belv. conv. that has long since dissappeared. Help me with this one, everyone out there seems to have a lot of knowledge and I don't know where I would turn without the Golden Fin Society and the Forward look web site. Thanks and keep looking forward! Todd _____________________________________________________________________________________ Get more from the Web.
