 Also helps to use a utility knife, with new blade to cut off inside lip of
rubber (the lip that holds it to the metal top lip); TOP and SIDES, Only.
Then you can tilt the top out and pull up. this way the glass will still have
the rubber around it for protection. Not cutting the BOTTOM lip will help
keep the glass from slipping in the process. After it is out, then you can
remove the chrome trim without damaging it!
  (Old junkyard wisdom.)  That's good advice. Junkyards don't usually remove
the inside metal trim so can't get at the rubber            <>Roy<>
