[FWDLK] Radio wavelength

Group,

Does someone know if the wavelengths used on '50s american radios (5 to 16)
are used in Europe ? And if they are, what do they correspond to ? It might
not be interesting to restore my radio if all I can receive is static ...
Thinking ahead, what's your experience concernig FM conversion ?
