I would like to put forward my support of a formal
list of hidden numbers.
Having just purchased a relatively rare vehicle, I
was lucky enough to have the help of someone with the knowledge of the
location to the hidden number.
The purchase price of the vehicle related to
the options it received, so buying this vehicle for a premium without matching
ALL the numbers could of been an absolute disaster!
The seller of the vehicle didn't know the location
of the number and neither did I.
But one thing was for sure I didn't want to take
the gamble! If numbers could not be verified, I feel I would of had to walk
away from the deal and would still be wondering to this day what I had
missed out on.
It would be great to get a FORMAL LIST going,
before rumours of locations and generalisations start confusing us
all.
