To steal a line from a recent Dodge ad campaign, "this changes everything". '62-'65 TFs are shifted by means of a cable and can be mated to a pushbutton setup. '66 and newer TFs are shifted by a solid linkage and AFAIK can't be converted. I'd sure like to be proven wrong by someone who's actually made this combo work. One of my fantasies is to do a '57 Dodge pickup with the MP crate 360 and the A-500 or A-518 overdrive automatic, but I only want to do that combo if I can make it work with buttons like God and Virgil intended. ===== Mike Sealey, San Francisco CA '57 Plymouth Sport Suburban __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
