[FWDLK] 61 dodge engine transplant

             hi all, i just bought a nice 61 dodge pioneer 2dr sedan, the
slant 6 smokes very bad, what i'd like to know is, i think some of this was
discussed before, will a 65 727 work with the 61 shift cables and will a 383
bolt to the same motor mounts as the six in these cars? does the 383 have to
be 65 or newer to work with this tranny? has anyone tried this setup before?
