If there's an auction I'm particularly interested in, even if I have no plans to bid on it, when I'm viewing the auction listing I click on the "watch this item" icon. Every registered ebay user has a "my ebay all page". If you know how to access your particular "my ebay" page, you'll find that when you click "watch this item", that and all the other auctions you are "watching" show up on this page. You can then access them any time during or after the auction until you delete that particular auction from your "my ebay" page. Works great for me!
