I was there with my '59 Dodge on Friday. Met with the "Click and Clack Bros." of the '59', Ron Waters and Jim Mikolajak, both from New England. They showed me the stuff I needed, and gave me instructions on how to get it. Jim noticed a missing bolt on my generator, and a half assed repair on my oil sending unit hose. Ron took photos, and seemed to cover everything like a news event. In fact, he reminds me of Geraldo Rivera, only without the money. Anywho, swell seeing them both and thanks for the tips. I left my car in the fun field, found parts, etc. But the talk of the show were the asking prices for the cars in the corral. I saw a lot of number four and three condition cars with number one asking prices. My guess was people were fishing. Building T had the usual group of modern concept cars and number one vintage restored cars. My favorite was the Pink '57 Imp. Crown Coupe. It looked twice as big in person as it does in photos. In Friday's fun field, one curiosity...Out of maybe 200 cars only one pre-55. It was a 52 Dodge done up as a police car. Old Mopars are getting hard to find. Hey I guess, maybe I'm Geraldo Rivera!
