Very satisfied with what we found at Iola. Quite a few good parts for our 55s and some neat memorabilia. Lots of books at the Kruse book sale also! Great deals there at 5 apiece for what ever came out of the boxes. Picked up an extra copy of the Chrysler book and it occurred later that I should have bought 50 for club members! (no one would have wanted them then though!) Parts dry up as the cars get older naturally. Fact of life. To me there is more Mopar available now than in past years but have been doing this for 30 years now and remember when you almost had to explain what a Mopar was!! Still not the favorite collector car out there but its mine anyway! Always amazes me to see what you accidentally stumble on to when not expecting. Picked up 3 55 Chryslers last fall all by accident but just too cheap to pass up. I have a lot besides the forward look cars though so always find something. Got some neat literature buys also. Have spare 55-58 and 59 Parts books available if anyone wants them as a result of the weekend. (write separately if interested) Terry ----- Original Message ----- From: Ron Waters <Ronbo97@xxxxxxxx> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 10, 2000 6:51 PM Subject: [FWDLK] Iola Car Show Question > This is directed at all that attended the Iola Car Show. > > Did you guys find a lot of Forward Look stuff for sale ?
