Hello Hans, Daniel & list.
I am one of the crazy ones that go to the maximum renovation. My friends and me have spent more than 2500 hours to put my 55 DeSoto Firedome Sportsman in a very good condition.

I had a long discussion whit Mr Phil Skinner from California USA who was a speaker at Power Big Meet this year. Mr Skinner is a well known collector car writer who is a regular contributor to such publications in United States as Old Cars Weekly, Cars & Parts Magazine, Sports Car Market, Collectible Automobiles and several others.

Mr Skinner was very impressed of my car and our other very well made renovations.
This was the six times that I got an award in the competition. This year a second place in original renovation class 1955-1963 hard top All-American brands.  First price this year got to a very nice  DeSoto Adventure -59  third place to a Cadillac -58. Previous year I have two first places and 3 second places.

All FWDLK cars are very welcome to the WPC club area. You do not have do be a member in WPC. It is very nice to talk whit other FWDLK car owners.

Hi Daniel & List,
did anyone else attend? I went with my family and friends in a 1962 Imperial Crown 2d Southampton. Great weekend, nice cars. If you like FWDLK cars this is the place to be, I'd say about 300 of them on Saturday alone (this is a 3-day meet).

BTW Daniel there was 3 300C:s and 1 300D (the red one with the hemi-powered ski-boat in tow).
Perhaps we should coordinate a meeting of list members next year?

Me and some friends cruised to Vasteras in my 58 Plymouth convertible. We visited Power Big Meet, Swedens and europes biggest carshow. I heard that there where over 7000 cars!! And here is nearly only american cars. The Bentlys, Triumphs, Ferraris etc have to stay at home. I saw 4 1958 Chrysler 300D convertible that was there last year also. Two of them are in really mint condition. In Sweden the restorers are really goijng to the edge! The cars is like brand new with everything new including all labels and paint ok stamps etc etc. One of the guys got an offer on the 300. It was 650.000SEK, about $75.000! He was not sure but I think that he may sell it. The car is like a brand? new car. I will probably post some photos on my site, or maybe link to it. I didn't see many 57-58 Plymouths but I saw some 57s in varios conditionns.....
You should visit Power BigMeet some time!!
