Hey folks,
    I thought I'd update the story on the radiator filters I recieved
from Owen Griggs a few weeks ago. Installation is a snap on the upper
hose and very accessable to maintain and clean. I have only put a few
hundred miles on my 66 300 since installation but  let me say this, I
have had to clean it 4 times already!  I am amazed at what is coming out
of the cooling system, fairly large chunks of rust(about the size of a
black fly) that are large enough to clog your radiator to less than full
capacity with time. I have replaced the radiator, and water pump with a
good flush and like I say I'm amazed.
    I would say that the 2 minutes it takes to unscrew the top and pull
the screen out and spray carb cleaner  to dislodge the crud is a no
brainer for cooling maintainence.
    I still have all the replies with a request to recieve a unit so I
haven't forgotten you. I'll talk to Owen and see when we can get a
batch.
