OK, so far all I'm out is a cracked taillight lens. I sent
him two whole lenses for models. He kept them five months, did
nothing. So I asked for my lenses back. He returned them,
but packed them so poorly one was broken in two. He then
apologized and promised me free lenses from the ones he was making
using NOS models he had obtained. That was months ago, still
nothing. Doesn't answer calls. But I see his ads and
announcements everywhere that he has them and others, so I'm
mystified.
I got a call from an outfit that makes rubber and plastic parts
for Gary Goers, they were very diplomatic but let me know this guy is
well known to them too as all mouth and no action.
There is another guy with a do-it-yourself silicon mold making
video that I'm going to try, his website is at

He says dome lights and taillights can both be done. I
ordered it through Amazon.com, e.g.,

Let me know about any info that you receive on this guy. I was thinking of letting him reproduce a courtesy light lens. I would have to have 25 or so made, so I'm pretty interested about his "Promises". Deane -----Original Message----- What's up with this guy? Anybody know? Supposed to have '60 Desoto taillights, but just try to order one. (I've been trying for seven months, got lots of promises.) Richard |
