Well how GOOD is yer cooling system....
and what psi is it supposed to operate at?
Just be sure U dont get a cap for a 'modern' car that operates at a higher
pressure than your original cap , U may find all those leaks in your heater
core (and more!) :o/>
If I remember right, some years ago before coolant recovery was standard,
there where conversions where you used the OVERFLOW TUBE and ran a neoprene
hose to a plastic bottle you secured to your fan shroud or such. Pretty EZ
to do and think it worked.
Maybe a list member can recall the detailz...
