Karl and everyone with a coolant recovery system. You DO need a coolant recovery system special cap. The idea of the system is to recover the coolant pushed out of the radiator. To enable the coolant to be sucked back into the radiator when cooling down requires that the cap seal airtight to the TOP of the radiator neck, not just the bottom as a regular cap does. Get one and your system will work fine. Gary karl peterson wrote: > I want to thank all who responded to me with info regarding the coolant > overflow tank question.
