Y'know, I was kind of keeping my opinions to myself until I saw the message
from Chargin' Charles and I have to agree with him. Do any of you happen to
have any web buddies scattered around the world? I know that fuel prices in
Europe are way above what we pay here but if they and the Asians and the
Australians and Africans were given a little hint, it's just possible that
we could get a world-wide gas-out for a few days and really stick it to the
petroleum people. Yeah, I know.... many of you are thinking "It could never
happen". Hey, I never thought anyone I knew would hit the lottery
either.... but I was wrong. The thing is that it wouldn't have to be 100%
participation. Just enough so that they would feel it at OPEC. Then they
may have to stop and think about what could eventually happen if they keep
aggravating the entire world the way they are. Unfortunately, I don't have
any acquaintances overseas or I would've proposed this to them a while ago.
