Thank you, Dirk, for the history of Facel Vega. I remember, as a kid, being
so proud that an elite European car like the Facel would choose a Chrysler
motor for its vehicle. The Dual Ghia was commissioned by Chrysler so it
cannot be compared to the Facel, which you implied, could choose whatever
power they could afford. Your letter was very informative. About Carlisle,
keep reading this board. There does not seem to be an organized Forward Look
meeting now, but I'm trying. As of now, just look for cars with fins and ask
questions. Try and wear a T-shirt with your car's photo on it. It's worked
wonders for me!!
