[FWDLK] Two-Lane Blacktop

Hi FLers -

Just read in the video section of today's paper about a 1971 film called
'Two-Lane Blacktop', which is being released on video for the first time.
According to the paper, the film stars musicians James Taylor and (the late)
Dennis Wilson (of the Beach Boys), and co-stars a 55 Dodge !  Seems these
two like to race total strangers on a road trip to Washington in the Dodge.
Does anyone know anything else about this film ?  Does anyone remember
seeing this film when it was first released ?
