Re: [FWDLK] Dodge D-500-1 etc.

I know this car and have ridden in it. It is a yellow and white Custom Royal
4 dr., with factory air conditioning (A/C vents on top of the rear quarters
are visible in the photo). It is a legitimate D500, but I do not recall if
it has the big 12 inch brakes and suspension, or just the standard 11 inch.
I think it is an original Las Vegas, Nevada, car, thus the A/C. It was very
rust free. When (1985) I rode in it, it was still in Vegas. That owner had
installed a Cast Iron TorqueFlight, which he offered to demonstrate with a
ride. He also had installed a factory 2x4 D500-1 intake setup, which he had
purchased from a friend of mine in Los Angles. The intake had been offered
to me in 1982, before I even owned my Dodge. I wish I had bought it, I am
older and wiser now.
