Hi Ed, I would like to suggest another solution which may keep your exhaust outlets in the bumper looking good for a much longer time. This has worked well on my 57 Dodges with the extensions on the bumper and has worked well for friends of mine with 55 T Birds. I am sure others have done something similar. Run your exhaust tail pipes to the rear as you normally would except terminate them short of the bumper. Have a curved down section formed for the last foot or so, attach to the tail pipes and dump the exhaust below the bumper and out of sight (instead of going through the chrome extensions). This will keep your bumper looking new without the discoloration and inevitable rust that will occur otherwise. I'd be happy to take any suggestions. Thanks! > > Ed > <http://www.angelfire.com/de/petrus/index.html>
