Re: [FWDLK] adapter

Hi Spencer
I might be way out in left field but I just had the engine in my 1959
Plymouth Suburban rebuilt. It was a Canadian built 313 V8 and it had the
adapter. I have been told that Canadian built cars have the adapter and that
a 318 us built car doesn't, but have not seen one to verify.
The Suburban also has a 3 speed torqueflite and the adapter has a section
in the bottom missing so you can reach up and take all the nuts off the
torque converter that fasten it to the crankshaft.
that's my two cents
Burt
