Are you asking about the recent crop of "Magnum" engines, or perhaps a "magnum" from earlier times? Regarding the current engines, the "Magnum" 360 (5.9L) debuted on 1993 model year on Dodge trucks. The "Magnum" name was introduced on the 1992 M/Y 3.9L and 5.2L V8s, which were equipped with sequential multi-point fuel injection, a revised cam profile, and revised intake manifold. These engine "blessings" were delayed on the 5.9L until the 1993 model year, so for 1992 the 5.9L retained the TBI system. Correct me if I'm mistaken on any of these facts! Does anyone know the difference or is there a difference between this and a 360 "magnum" engine.
