Dan: Dan: I replaced my '55 Belvedere wire set with one from Andy Bernbaum a while back. This is lacquered wire with copper core. He'll send you a lengthy piece and you cut it up accordingly. It comes with tips and boots the part number is K-114. This is what I have on the oldie and it runs smoothly. Another source is Pro Antique Auto Parts (Tel 202-623-8274). They list a part no. WH-102 and describe the set as Dupont rubber. I don't know if these are precut or not. I, too, have had to resort to generic brands or substitutes because of lack of correct wire sets, and if your interest is just to keep you car in decent show condition, short or concours correct, then you might want to do that.
