    Hi 'Lookers.  I need to know what you all use to replace your worn-out
"parcel shelves" or "back dashes."  I've got to replace the lousy scrap of
carpet between the back seat and back window of my '59 Fireflite 4dr
Sportsman.  I'd like to go as original looking as possible but I don't have
any samples to go by.  I think it is supposed to be black or dark grey long
grained vynal over some kind of cardboard and topped off with two little
buttons.  Please correct me if I'm mistaken.  I don't think Goers repros
this piece.

    Also, could somebody out there mail me the production stats for '59
DeSotos?  All I have is the total number of 'em produced in '59.  I'd love
to know how many '59 DeSoto Fireflite 4dr Sportsmans were produced in
particular.

    And...I'm looking for a correct '59 DeSoto radio.  I think the correct
unit has red numbers on a white background.  Are there any other Mopar
radios that would fit the bill?  That color combo is pretty unique.  As long
as I'm writing, I'll mention that my horn ring is missing and I'm looking
for that, too.
