Hey guys, I have to agree with Mel about these "non existant Mopars", one of the reasons I ended up a Mopar nut was the 58 Savoy my father owned. He bought it from the local dealer who was using it as a promo car, Asbestos (truley his name) got it from Chrys. as one of his regular, non special order, deliveries and the darn thing had a 350 with the 2x4 setup in it coupled to a three on the tree. I loved that old 2 dr post sedan even with its god awful green color, except for the habit it had of running wild when you started it on a cold Idaho morning, you had to pop the hood and release the choke system or it would run up to about (guessing) 3grand. Dad sold that thing to a young kid for a 55 Belair 4 door and a couple of hundred cause he didn't want me ruining any more tires (kept having to prove if you have enough power tires burn and don't squeel) Jim |
