I always drive with my headlights on, even in the brightest sunlight (I can see oncoming cars with their lights on easier even when the sun is shining in my eyes). It makes visual contact of oncoming cars easier when passing etc. Daytime runnning lights became standard in Canada a few years back, and there has been a reduction in the number of accidents. Just like seatbelts and third brake lights, some folks refuse to believe they will contribute to safer roads. Todd 58 Belvedere-lights on at all times while driving |
