Watch out those plastic covers can act like an oven and bake the upholstery beneath them. If you are not using the car much anyway just be careful and keep them clean. Throw beach towels over them if you sweat a bunch on them. Some kinds of plastic release acid and destroy what they are to protect also. Many paper items have been destroyed by being placed in plastic. ---------- From: John Bayerlein[SMTP:bayerlin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, July 08, 1998 7:27 AM To: tehoema@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx; L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [FWDLK] 1958 Plymouth Our 1958 Belvedere has just turned 19000 miles and the consensus of opinion here is that the near perfect interior should be protected by clear plastic seat covers, typical of the 50's era.
