You know guys, the kinda things I've been hearing about Mitchells sounds like criminal activity. Defrauding people while using phones and mail are Federal crimes. E.g., Wire Fraud and Mail Fraud. Just gyping people out of money with junk or taking money without delivering are state crimes, probably misdemeanors, but maybe felonies. If several of you wrote the United States Attorney and the State County District Attorney in the regions Mitchell is in, and provided a very clear description of the transactionms and correspondence, I'm sure a criminal investigation would be launched. (PS, Leave out the ermotional stuff, just lay the facts out straight without any recommended action or interpretation.) The US Post Office also has a unit to do criminal investigations of businesses defrauding people while using the mail. You think Mitchell would wake up if he got hauled off to Federal Prison by US Marshalls? Maybe they'd auction off his inventory. How much you want a bet Mitchell hasn't been reporting his sales income properly? If he takes money and ships nothing, that's PURE PROFIT. And taxable. Maybe IRS should be copied on your letters too. They can arrest people without warrants, sieze property without court orders, and even clobber innocent spouses or ex-spouses. Wouldn't it be too bad if old man Mitchell got introduced to the IRS crimes unit?
