Tod wrote about his gas tank getting nasty when he fill it. My 55 Plymouth pukes if I don't fill the tank slowly. My tank has been off, cleaned painted and put a new vent hose on it that was moulded to the proper fit.(Napa P/N 9807). I think I just had to shorten it to make it correct. When I fill the tank and have a couple of more gallons to go the gas will rush up the vent tube and circle around in the filler tube , sometimes so violently that it spits onut onto the fender or me so I have to watch and listen to get a good fillup. Does any one know why this happens or is it one of the weird things that just happens??? Also if any one needs to replace the moulded heater bypass hose on the 55 Plymouth, use Napa P/N 10700. Just shorten it and it will work just fine. Thanks Jack 55 Plymouth Belvedere 2 Dr Cl Cp By the way, I'm going to my grand daughters 4th birthday over the weekend up near Watertown, NY and am going to try to get into a yard with about 8000 cars from the 30's to maybe late 70's. I'll let you know what happens. If the weather looks good I'll take the 55. _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
