It is normally sprayed on, and I believe there is a production process that electrically charges the flock particles so they all orient the same way. BUT I made a few fiberglas hardtops many years ago. Flocked the inside using simply loose (rayon?) flocking. Applied it to a brushed on coat of polyester resin, fortunately the top was inverted so I could just sift it onto the inside of the top. Worked quite well, takes some practice tho. Never tried any spray method- its gotta be nasty with all those tiny needlelike particles in the air. ROtsa Ruck Lars |
