Josh - Read my other post about my previous two experiences with cut-rate paint jobs. IMHO that you get what you pay for. Yeah, you might luck out and find a place that can do a good job on a rust-free, already sanded, ready for paint car, for less than $1000. But I haven't been that lucky. Didn't mean the Maaco remark in a snobby manner or as a slam against anyone that has gone that route. I was thinking of too many cars for sale that I've gone to see or have seen in car corrals, that just had quickee paint jobs. The bottom line is: You've spent your hard-earned money on the right car (a Mopar). It's yours to enjoy in any manner you wish. Have fun ! Ron |
