I just wanted to say that although I am sad and unhappy about the buying of ChrysCo, it wasn't the same company that made our cars, so many years ago. Even in the past 7 days, my faith in late-model mopar is being tested, as our '93 Grand Caravan has more stupid, crappy, tiny problems than an Edsel, and the dealership is trying its damnedest to screw us for every cent they can to fix it. (somehow leaking water pump turns into new engine??? I think not.) Anyway, MoPar changes every time it changes hands to different folks in the company. The darkest hour in MoPar history being '61-'62: the shameful treatment of our Hero, the jeoprodiziation of the whole company, our Hero's departure, and the cause of assymetrical cars being set back another 50 years or more was all caused by one slimy little toad who overheard murmerings about the NOVA!!! The next year he took over the place. Disgraceful. No German involvment, however. Hmmm--- Tim |
