Kenyon is right. One quick way to check if the throttle body area is not tight to the intake is by spraying carburetor cleaner around the whole base of the carburetor. If the idle improves, or if it's real obvious and you see some bubbling, then you have a loose carburetor. Depending on how long the car has been sitting, the gasoline can become a major part of the problem. Modern gasolines have many additives that reduce its "shelf life" to three months at best. Make sure you add some Techron in that tank to dissolve any deposits. Also make sure to use StaBil when the car is stored for long periods.
