I would never pay a #2 price for a car with the wrong engine. That's counterintuitive to the #2 designation. I recommend the seller install the proper engine (in #2 condition, of course) and charge accordingly. Otherwise, a discount is in order. Is anything else on the car ersatz? Vinyl where there should be leather? Substandard carpet/pad? #2 is #2. If it's not, it's #3 -- David "Steve B." <imperial59@xxxxxxxxx> To: mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent by: cc: mailing-list-owner@imper Subject: Re: IML: Roger- re 62 red imp from Arizona ialclub.com 01/05/2005 04:07 PM Please respond to mailing-list > I think that he indicated that the 36 meant that it was a 361 engine instead of the >413. I would normally agree with you but heres what bothers me on this one. The car is a strong #2 and priced accordingly. If you were looking at buying probably one of the finest 62's in existence would it bother you if it had the wrong engine?
