You need a lubricant that can withstand low temperatures, is not hygroscopic, and can allow for a degree of electrical conductivity.  Silicone grease is very good at all of the above.  If you buy it in an aerosol can, it can be sprayed on a paper towel or rag, and then applied to all of the antenna mast elements.  The nice thing about silicone lubricants is that they leave the surface dry, so that dirt does not attract or stick to it.  I use it on any application that does not get constant use such as hinges, window tracks, key cylinders, latches, etc.
