Check your electrical connections, but generally that means one or more of the lights shorted out. If there is a short they all go out. If there is an open circuit, only the open light is effected. You should disconnect them one at a time to find which one is causing the problem. You may be able to tell by looking. I bet it is one of the needles, since they "move". A wire may have come in contact with a ground. The system is grounded through the screws that attach the cluster to the dash, so unless you didn't replace any of the screws, I don't think that insufficient ground is your problem. Soldering the wires to the needles is a little risky because of the extra heat. I use conductive glue. I tried to solder the hair-like litz wire back onto the gauge needles. They lit up fine and then suddenly the whole EL lighting shut off while I was driving at night. I can tell when theres power to them when the car is off because I hear a faint buzzing sound. but now I dont get that buzzing sound at all and no EL light show. > >Brandt >1963 Le Baron > > >----------------- ?http://www.imperialclub.com ?----------------- >This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
