Joseph: You need to consider two things.
Will this fit onto the carb correctly? Will this clear the a/c
compressor? Most likely the first answer is yes, the second depends on
whether or not your car is a/c equipped. As for harm to the engine, the
only way that will happen is if you decide to fill the air cleaner
