This isn't a valid VIN. For 62, the vin should be 10 characters long, and start with a 9 followed by a 1,2,3 or 9. Assuming that those digits were inadvertently left off, this would be a 62, assembled at the Jeffereson Ave plant, and the 30, 481st car built. The missing 2nd number indicates which model of Imperial (1=Custom, 2=Crown, 3=Le Baron, 9=Ghia).
