A large quantity of "mud" in a cooling system will certainly cause a problem with overheating but you cannot make any educated statement that the product causes overheating or even combined with the "mud" already in the system if it didn't already cause any overheating! My experience with the stuff is in the central valley of California, there are some places that get hotter, but not many.
