>The interior was, unfortunately, in rather sorry state when I first saw the car. The car belonged to a fellow that I knew in a distant way, but never had direct contact with over the years. I had heard that he was severely injured in an accident about 10 or more years back and had been in a coma ever since the accident. His daughter had then moved into his home( which is only about 2 miles from our home), and , apparently, did not like Imperials. She ( or someone) ejected the LeBaron from the cozy garage and placed her crappy Honda in it's place. That - in itself- is sinful enough, but the most grievous thing about the incident was that the windows were left down while parked outside for somewhere near 5 years. So, the interior that came with the car was blue fabric with matching blue leather trim- stress the word blue in that sentence, cause when I first saw the car the interior was basically done for. Since then I have had the interior locally re-done in a closely matching color. And that is where things are as we speak. I'm still in the process of getting all the pieces re- installed.
